Kurt Konrad Junkermann, age 52, of Green Bay peacefully passed away on May 27 in Marquette, Michigan. He was born on June 20, 1957 in Green Bay.
He graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1975. He was a former board member of WXPR in Rhinelander.
Kurt is remembered for his positive outlook and for being an inspiration to everyone that knew him. Kurt was a phenomenal Artist and fisherman. He enjoyed nature, helping in community projects, and spending time with his family, friends and four cats Copycat, Wiggy, Bonk and Splash. He was a very passionate and loving person who saw the world from an Artist's point of view.
He was preceded in death by his brother Terry Junkermann. Kurt is survived by his parents Otto C. Junkermann, Carol J. Junkermann Rasmussen, and Stepfather Charles Rasmussen; His brother Perry (Nancy) Junkermann of Eagle River, Kelly (Rosemary) Junkermann of Los Angeles, Brad Junkermann of Green Bay, Richard (Dunja) Junkermann of the Netherlands; His sister Karen (Chris) Nolan of Nineveh, Indiana; Nephews James Henk, Chance & Lucas Junkermann and Great Nephew Cohen Junkermann; His nieces Amanda Keck, Chelsea & Johanna Junkermann and Karissa Nolan.
In accordance with Kurt's wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation. A Memorial Tribute (Celebration of Kurt's Life) will be held at Titletown Brewing Company, 200 Dousman Street, Green Bay, Wisconsin from 6-9 p.m. on June 19, 2010.

Contributions may also be made to the Kurt Junkermann Fund - c/o The Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, 310 West Walnut Street, Suite 350, Green Bay, WI 54303 or online at ggbcf.org. This fund is established to support Theater Arts at Aldo Leopold School – a program in which Kurt was actively involved. Arrangements were handled by Canale Tonella Funeral Home.
