Donna M. LaChapelle, 82, of Marquette, died Thursday afternoon, June 24, 2010 at the home of her daughter in Green Bay, Wisconsin, surrounded by her family following a lengthy illness.

Donna was born on March 21, 1928 in Marquette to the late Nels and Ora (Comstock) Jensen and had been a lifelong area resident. She was previously employed at the former Woolworth Store in Marquette as a clerk for many years.

She is survived by four daughters, Linda L. Papin, Dale M. (Marty) Olivier and Lana L. Beaudry, all of Marquette, and Vicki L. (Dave) Boyer of Green Bay, WI; 11 grandchildren, Joe Papin, Shelley Hanson, Amy McNair, Gary Olivier, Greg Olivier, Rick Beaudry, Mindy Carrier, Robi Boyer, Devin Boyer, Jache Marie Beaudry, and Samantha Jo Beaudry; many great grandchildren; three sisters, Phyllis (James) Miller of Marquette, Loane Anderson of Missouri and Marvel (Wesley) Jacobson of Chicago, IL; also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death besides her parents was her husband, Louis L. LaChapelle in 1986; five brothers, Nelson, Roger, Marvin, Beryl and Lyle Jensen; two sisters, Clarice Jensen and Eleanor Johnson; also a great granddaughter, Lacey Dale Olivier.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 3rd at 11 a.m. in the Canale-Tonella Funeral Home in Marquette. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
