I was saddened to hear of Bob's passing, altho' I am so very certain that he is with the Lord. My son and I are volunteers at the Jacobetti Home for Veterans and had the opportunity to share lunch with Bob many times, and always stopped to visit with him when we were at the home. He was a very kindly, honorable, soft-spoken man who always had a kind word for my son. Yes, he was an ordinary man, with a twinkle in his eye, and we do mourn his passing.

I am deeply saddened by the death of Mr. Noe. He could not have been an ordinary man; I have met members of his family, they were influenced by him, and are extra-ordinary people. God be gracious to him.

Our sincere sympathy to the family of Grampa Noe. We met him at the wedding of Robert and Erica Noe in July 2006. A full life well lived.

I do remember both Eleanor and Bob. He may not be remembered by many, but he was a hero, and because of many, many like him, we AND many Europeans have the freedoms we all take for granted today. God bless America, her veterans and those presently serving. May you be comforted in the time of your loss.
